Only three days left to catch the senior special!!

Your senior year will be here before you know it! And once you get in your senior year, it flies by before you know it's gone. Get a jump start on your checklist by booking your senior casual portraits with me. If you book your session before March 31, you will recieve $25 worth of professional quality prints... on me! You will be able to choose which prints you want, so print some for your grandma-- on ME!

***Your session does not have to actually take place before March 31-- just contact me and book a date BEFORE March 31 to receive the print credit.***

If you decide to book your casuals with me, we will spend two hours at a location (or two) of your choice. Your portraits will reflect who YOU are, so we will incorporate your interests and have fun! Make your senior year memorable forever.

Drew + Charis

So this session tops my list of sweetest couple ever. 

We met in downtown Rockmart. Mary was with me, and when we got to what I thought was an empty house, it was NOT empty. Luckily, they were nice people and let us shoot in their yard. Thanks to Mary!

After we left the yard, we went to the awesome field from Blair's shoot. We were wrapping up when Drew looks at me and asks if my camera is still ready... at this moment I realize his hand was moving around in his pocket, so I'm like OH NO!! I BARELY had any pictures left on my memory card so I was flipping through to the first shots and deleting them because... Drew was proposing to Charis! AHHH so sweet. Charis was SO surprised (I was too) but they are perfect for each other and have been dating forever. :) 

Lessons taken from this session (for me and you): 1.) I will ALWAYS carry an extra memory card, even if I will only be shooting for an hour. 2.) If you are planning to propose to your girlfriend, I would LOVE to know about it. (Don't worry Drew, all is forgiven. :D)

Spring Session Giveaway

Since it's springtime, this contest will be focused on children and Easter... together. Children and Easter are a celebration in themselves, and then you put them together and you create great memories.

TO ENTER: Send me (via email) your favorite photo of your children (or grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc) in their Easter best!
The format will follow my previous LOVE contest... I will post them in their own album and the most likes on your photo will win! Make sure your voters know to like YOUR picture, rather than the entire album, and that comments do not count.

So what will you win? Good question.

The most likes will win a free mini session for the children entered! [Example: If you enter a photo of your grandchildren, your grandchildren will get the spotlight of the session, plus a few of you too. :D] If you would like something longer, you may "upgrade" to a longer session and the cost of the mini session will be subtracted. All of my sessions include a CD of your edited images with printing rights to your images. That being said, you may order professional prints through me.

Makeover with Mom

Celebrate Mother's Day with a Makeover with Mom!

On Saturday, May 7, I will be scheduling sessions all day for Makeover with Mom. These sessions will be a mother-child photo shoot suitable for boys and girls!

Destiny Wheeler (an Independent Mary Kay Consultant) will be available to do faces. The makeup is completely optional, but may make for a fun, glamour-style photo shoot!

The location has not officially been decided, but I wanted to see who was interested before we take further steps to make this happen for you!

All photo sessions will last 45 minutes. All sessions will include a CD of at least 15 images with printing rights. High quality prints will be available for order through me, as well.

Just Mommy and Me-- $50

Photo shoot ONLY

Something Special-- $65

Photo shoot + Mom makeup

Glam Session-- $70

Photo shoot + Mom makeup + little faces

If we have enough people interested in the Glam Session, we can get a tea party together for your photo shoot.

Mommy and Me: Lydia and Carson

Sweet Carson and his mom Lydia came to my house to play! Carson is about 14 months. I've taken their pictures three times now and it's always so much fun!

Blair, a reflector, and an awesome field.

One. I've known Blair since middle school and we have some great memories together. I'm honored that she chose me to capture her personality! We met up in downtown Rockmart. Knowing Blair and her personality, I knew she would wear something bright so I had planned to use all the cool neutral textures in the area. And what do you know, she shows up wearing a purple shirt... that she got for $4.00! Awesome.

Two. My reflector came in in time for this shoot and I was so excited. I gave my sister $5.00 to hold it for me. :) More on that later.

Three. I was driving to town and noticed a small patch of field... with green green grass and tall hay-like things. And, it just happened to be right off the Silver Comet Trail. Perfect field. Perfect lighting. So excited.

And just to show you just how great a reflector is... here is a before-reflector and with-reflector shot of Blair. Same shot, different angle. ALSO, this is the first time I used it so if it's not completely perfect, I'm still learning. If you have any suggestions  for using reflectors, please inform me!

Matt + Chasity Engagements

Matt and Chasity are engaged! Long story, but we ended up in downtown Cartersville to shoot. We had PERFECT lighting. Their first date was at Applebee's, and Matt proposed at Applebee's. (You'll see why I'm telling you this soon.) Matt is in a band and is trying to break out into the DJ business, if you need someone for your wedding or something. We shot some cutesy stuff that I think is adorable, and I don't care if you agree because I love it!! :D Enjoy!!
