Mommy+Me: April and Aiden

April was down from Washington visiting her family, so we got in a Mommy and Me session before she left! I graduated high school with April. Aiden is six months and looks just like his daddy, Blake, who is in the Navy and is currently deployed. We met in downtown Rockmart, but our initial plan didn't work out (there was a wedding in the park) so we improvised. It was just a little chilly, but I think they turned out great! :) Love all of Aiden's facial expressions!

Becca- Class of 2011

We met Becca on Broad St in Rome and we had so much fun! We started at DeSoto Theatre and this great blue wall and made our way towards the forum. Becca's mom was so funny... she would just wander off to look in store windows. :) Becca is a dancer, so we got some cool shots with her pointe shoes. Pretty awesome.

Kalen + Will

This is Kalen and Will. We met at my house to do some studio style portraits, and then we moved outside to lay in the yard. :) These two are sweet-- Kalen breaks out in a huge smile just by looking at Will. Enjoy!

2. These are just some of the possibilities I have available. I have chairs, baskets, blankets, frames, flowers, etc. that will be available for you to use during your session. You may also bring your own props! :)

3. The session will be $45 for 30 minutes and will include a CD with your edited images and a copyright release. (If you are interested in print packages, I also have prints available for purchase. Just ask me!)

4. To book your session or for more information, please email me at belovedphotographybypw@gmail.com! The number of sessions are limited, so hurry to reserve your time slot!

THE Challenge of 2011: Beauty in the Disaster.

I love to admire-- but sometimes I fail to do so. God made this world beautiful, and sometimes we forget to stop and admire His handiwork through all our crazy schedules. So this year, I challenge you (and myself) to take a step back and wonder at a sunset, a storm, or a child's laughter... and just be. Let that moment consume you with its happiness. Know that the Lord holds this world in His hand, yet He loves you. Just stop and take a moment to be blissfully happy.

"The heavens are Yours, the earth is also Yours; The world and all it contains, You have founded them." Psalm 89:11

Find beauty in the disaster. Love when you feel like it's impossible. Pray when you don't feel like praying. Laugh when you don't feel like laughing-- at that one person who can make you laugh by looking at you. Live when you don't think you can go on.

"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10
